The Application Process
Simply fill out the relevant online application form for the role you want to apply for.
Remember to have your Cover Letter and CV ready, as you will need to attach these to your application.
If you are living outside of New Zealand and would like to apply for a position with Total Access, we can assist you with residency should you be successful. We are available for Skype interviews and are also an Approved Employer with the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment.
You can expect to hear from us within 2-5 working days. We will let you know if you have been shortlisted or not and if successful the appropriate Divisonal Manager will be in contact with you.
If you are shortlisted, you may be invited to a panel interview.
This is an opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to learn more about us and the role you have applied for.
You will most likely be asked behavioural based questions on the key competencies required for the role and a brief on the team you will be working with.
In some cases, we may ask you to attend a second interview to further assess your suitability for the role or meet with your direct report.
For some roles we may ask you to complete a Psychometric Test. This test can be used to measure verbal, numerical and/or abstract reasoning, or personality characteristics.
After the interview and any testing, if you are our preferred candidate we may ask for the names of two referees to contact for confidential references. These referees should ideally be two former managers who you directly reported to, not Character references.
Please ensure these people have agreed to be your referees before giving us their details.
Security Clearance Information and Other Relevant Checks
Depending on the role, we may ask you to complete other checks such as credit, medical, criminal conviction checks, qualification vetting and checking of international candidates. You may also be required to undertake a pre-employment drug test.
Formal Job Offer
If you are our preferred candidate, and everything else checks out, we will make you a formal offer by sending your a written Offer of Employment along with an Individual Employment Agreement and related company documents to sign and get the ball rolling.
