Reach up and over

Boom lift hire

When the work is not directly above you. Booms reach out and over obstacles, into places a scissor lift or a scaffold will never get to.

The range

Boom lift hire: four booms for four kinds of obstacle

Electric boom lifts

Quiet, emission-free and clean enough to run indoors. Reach up and over obstacles without a generator on site.

Rough terrain knuckle booms

Two booms instead of one. Reach up, over and around obstructions from a compact, lightweight base.

Rough terrain telescopic booms

Long horizontal reach from a set position, so you can work above ground you cannot drive a machine onto.

Spider boom lifts

A low footprint and outriggers that spread the load. Fits through narrow access points and works on variable ground.

Good to know

Working height, ground and access

Boom lift hire is about reaching out, not just up, so the number that matters is horizontal outreach as much as working height — a boom loses reach the higher it goes. Check the load chart for the height and the side reach you actually need before you book.

Ground conditions decide the rest. Electric booms suit firm, level floors indoors; rough terrain knuckle and telescopic booms handle mud, slopes and broken ground; a spider boom threads through narrow access and spreads its load on surfaces that will not take a heavier machine. Tell us the site and we will pick the boom that fits.

Not sure?

Which boom do you need?

Tell us the working height, the ground conditions and whether you are inside or out. We will tell you what fits — and what will not.
