An EWP license is not mandatory in New Zealand but elevated work platforms operators must be competent in the safe operation of machines.

EWP training is about teaching the regulations, guidelines as well as code of practice for accessing and operating elevated working platforms safely. The training also covers practical exercises that apply and test a trainee's knowledge of the risks and operational skills required when operating elevated working platforms.

Ensures employee safety when working at height, increase confidence, improve hazard management (identification, assessment and controlling common hazards), increase emergency response and knowledge of different types of elevated working platforms and their applications through Total Access EWP Operator Training.

Why Train With Us?

Approved and professional trainers. Total Access is an Approved Training Centre, providing EWP Operating to both small and large groups. Our training programs are approved at a globally acceptable level of training. New Zealand's Best Practice Guidelines require training to be repeated every 3 years, while internationally, a repeated training every 5 years is acceptable.

Get trained by highly-qualified trainers. The courses are given by our skilled trainers, all of whom are employees at Total Access and have been working in the EWP industry for many years. During the training, they pass on the skills and experience they have gained, increasing your skills and boosting your confidence in handling EWP machines.

Train close to where you are. Total Access offers training at any of our branches in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Tauranga and Christchurch.

Be trained in a day. Our EWP training is designed to optimise your learning within a day.

Getting EWP training in New Zealand with Total Access is easy. Simply fill our online form indicating your name, number of trainees, location and other information you may have. Total Access offers immediate proof via email confirming EWP training attendance. Every trainee is enrolled and assessed by a skills-registered assessor.
