Scaffolders - ANY LEVEL EXPERIENCE! APPLY NOW

As a Scaffolder you will undertake all instructions received by the Auckland Scaffold Manager and/or Project Manager in regard to scaffold services including:

• Calculating scaffold loadings and establishing an appropriate scaffolding platform to build on
• Checking worksites for possible hazards
• Identifying and logging of possible hazards
• Delivering scaffold and unloading of scaffolds from trucks
• Laying of wooden or steel boards (sole plates) on the ground to spread the weight of the scaffoldings
• Checking of scaffolding structures and maintaining scaffold equipment
• Erecting all scaffolding as instructed for its intended use
• Fitting steel tubes and support braces together to form the scaffolding framework
• Fasten ladders and guard rails to scaffolding, including toe boards
• Dismantling and loading the scaffolding onto trucks
• Regularly inspecting scaffolding for safety

You will also need to work safely and communicate well within a team while also being able to work independently. You must be extremely reliable, honest, punctual, have a positive attitude and be flexible around some weekend work and after hours work.

What you need:

• Three or more years of experience in the scaffold industry or as a minimum an Elementary/L3 COC or in the process of gaining formal qualifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence and good attention to detail
• The people skills to work effectively with company personnel and customers where required and to promote excellent customer relationships at all times
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A full clean Driver’s License
• Valid Site Safe Passport
• Valid Working at Heights license
• Pass pre-employment checks including a drug and alcohol test
